We are
a financial services practice providing advisory services to
investors. Our financial advisors are licensed to provide financial
services as authorised representatives of
Lifestyle Investment Planning Pty Ltd
Australian Financial
Services Licence 278361.
The licensee provides the securities dealership, compliance,
research and the administrative framework within which we operate.
We are NOT a bank, stockbroker, accounting firm,
solicitor, nor is it a shop front for a large bank or fund manager.
No such institution holds any ownership interest in our
organisation. A
recent industry survey identified financial advisors linked to
banks, stockbrokers and major fund managers amongst the 27% of
financial advisors who prepared "poor", or "very poor" financial
plans.[1] This survey revealed that 67% of those advisors
recommended the products of their associated financial institution.
That statistic has once again raised serious questions about the
quality and objectivity of such financial advisors. Our structure
and formal standards ensure that our recommendations are not
influenced by institutional ownership. As a medium-sized, national
financial planning group not restricted to any specific
product/suppliers we fit within the category that the survey
recognised as the best performers.
Our advisors are licensed authority holders for the provision of
financial services and members of recognised professional bodies –
either the FPA (Financial Planning Association), or CPA (Certified
Practicing Accountants). Both bodies demand high levels of
professional competence and conduct.
Our staff have broad business experience that gives them a unique
ability to understand your specific needs. In addition to formal
tertiary and industry training our consultants also have experience
in retail banking, general accounting, stock broking, taxation
planning, superannuation, funds funds management, small business
management and management consulting. This enables them to see
beyond the regular financial planning aspects and consider the
"bigger picture" when servicing your needs.
We also maintain close relationships with a network of professionals
providing supplementary services via referral - such as legal,
accounting, insurance, personal lending, recruitment, management,
mortgage and property consultants.
